What is SubmitMusic?
SubmitMusic is a place to sell your music for a one-time purchase that is directly paid to you. We’re seeking your unwanted or unused sound recordings that you have no intention of ever personally releasing yourself. Check out our article about SubmitMusic for more information!
If I accept an offer, what am I selling?
If you submit a recording and receive a valuation from us, you can either accept or reject that offer. If you decide to accept, you’ll be selling all of your rights associated with that recording. That means you won’t be able to collect publishing or master royalties on that particular recording anymore.
I received a valuation and I accepted the offer, when do I get paid?
To make withdrawals easier on our backend team, we let you cash out when your account balance has gotten to $20 or over. If you’d like to cash out sooner than that, feel free to reach out to us and we’ll expedite the process. We process payments Monday through Friday and it can take up to 72 hours for us to send it after you’ve chosen to withdraw.
How will I be paid?
All payments will be sent out via PayPal. When you go to cash out, you must add your PayPal email to your account. We’d prefer it if your account email on SubmitMusic was the same as your PayPal email.
What kinds of recordings can I submit?
Anything you want! SubmitMusic will accept anything from a field recording on your phone to your homemade loops. Make sure to check out our submission guidelines and our article about what kind of recordings SubmitMusic is looking for.
What happens to my recording after I sell it?
SubmitMusic will process your recordings and add it to our extensive music library which will then be distributed or added to our licensing catalog.
Can Anyone Submit?
Yes, as long as you are over the age of 18.
Can I Submit Cover Songs?
No, you cannot. All recordings submitted must be 100% original. Check out our article on submission guidelines for more information!
